Friday 20 October 2017 – Hidden Figures (cert PG) (runtime: 127 minutes) Salutes the trailblazing achievements of three African-American women who worked behind the scenes at NASA as 'human computers', doing the hard sums before electronic machines were up to the task. The trio had key roles to play in getting US cosmonaut John Glenn into orbit and safely back again in the early 1960s when racial segregation was still rife.
